Looking forward to being a part of TweetsGiving and making the Omaha community part of it!
Since we’re just getting started, here’s a preliminary list of what we need so far:
A VENUE – the event will take place on either Nov 24th or 25th so if you have a venue available for either of those dates, let me know! The time for the event is flexible, so if you own a bar and have it available during the day, we can certainly make this a daytime event.
VOLUNTEERS – we’ll need volunteers to help organize the event, promote it, and help out at the event itself
SPONSORS and GUESTS – See the Ticket Information box on this page to purchase tickets, sign up for various levels of sponsorship, or send a donation
MUSIC, FOOD, PRIZES – Since this is still in the organizing phase, I’m considering having a potluck, having live music, and doing an auction or raffle for additional fundraising depending on the response to each of those. So leave a comment or send me a message if you’d be willing to bring food for a potluck or know someone willing to donate catering, if you’d be willing to donate a prize, or if you’re in a band that would be willing to perform at the event
