The Canberra TweetsGiving party will be held on December 1st 2009 from 5:30pm at The Front, Lyneham, a joint CTUB / SMC Canberra / NetTuesday Canberra event. The more the merrier, so we would be ever-so-grateful if you brought your friends.

TweetsGiving is an event created by US nonprofit Epic Change, and will encourage participants to express their thanks using online tools and at live events. In honor of the people and things that make them grateful, guests will be invited to give to a common cause at events held across the globe. This year, funds raised will go to help Tanzanian Epic Change fellow “Mama Lucy” Kamptoni and her school, Shepherds Junior, a small primary school in Arusha

While the event entry will be free, please consider supporting this great cause and buy a virtual ticket for the event.

Door prizes on the night include:
- A food hamper to value of $100, generously supplied by Coles Online.
- A signed copy of Connection Generation, generously provided by the lovely Iggy Pintado.
- A uber-cool LED clock, generously provided by Ruth Ellison.
- Akoha card-packs, provided by Lauren Cochrane.
